A word from Conrad

I’m Conrad Wood. I’m standing as the Scottish Liberal Democrats candidate for Gordon and Buchan to save our NHS, build our local economy and focus on local priorities.

To save our NHS, we need a change from 14 years of SNP and Conservative decline. Having won Gordon in 4 of the last 7 General Elections, only the Liberal Democrats can win change here.

To build our local economy, I will use my 15 years’ engineering experience in the local energy industry to ensure our area’s skills are fully utilised in the transition to green energy, and defend the use of local oil and gas instead of imports.

In focusing on local priorities, I want to follow in the footsteps of Malcolm Bruce, the former Lib Dem MP for Gordon, who was elected 7 times in a row because he stood-up for our area. We need a dedicated, hardworking MP again.
